Biography

Ken Sponsler brings more than 30 years of leadership and management experience and thousands of hours of process engineering and consulting expertise to CompliancePoint, a PossibleNOW company. In his role as Vice President & General Manager of CompliancePoint's Consulting Services Compliance practice, Ken manages an ever-growing team of consumer privacy preference compliance consultants and services who work with a wide variety of global Consulting Services companies. Ken and his team have performed dozens of US federal and state telemarketing and DNC, CAN-SPAM, Junk Fax and Mail compliance assessments and audits. Prior to CompliancePoint, he assisted PossibleNOW with the development of company-wide compliance and audit procedures.

Ken has extensive experience conducting marketing, data security and privacy compliance consulting assignments for a wide variety of companies including Fortune 500 clients. He was instrumental in designing the primary compliance process that PossibleNOW offers to its corporate customers on an outsourced basis. Ken has been retained as an expert witness in numerous TCPA and TSR related class action and regulator lawsuits.

Ken serves on the National Board of Directors with the Professional Association of Customer Engagement (PACE), formerly the American Teleservices Association (ATA) as well as a member of the federal legislative committee, state legislative committee, DNC implementation committee and the compliance officer's forum. Ken is also a PACE Self-Regulatory Organization trustee. Ken is a frequent speaker at industry events including the PACE Annual Convention and DMA Teleservices Conference.

Prior to joining PossibleNOW, Ken served over 27 years in the US Army primarily in Airborne Infantry assignments, culminating in duties as the Command Sergeants Major of the 3rd Infantry Division, an elite 23,400 man combat unit. Ken was a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton providing consulting services to large organizations. He participated in numerous consulting projects for the government and military including establishing modularity design and organizational changes adopted by the US Army, the development of operations documents for the Air Assault Expeditionary Force project, and project management and contract tracking for the ARL-SOCOM project.

Ken has earned his Customer Engagement Compliance Professional (CECP) certification from the Professional Association for Customer Engagement (PACE), a certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Ken is also among the first to earn certification as an American Teleservices Association Self-Regulatory Organization Auditor. (ATA-SRO). Ken also holds Department of Defense level security clearances.
